Growing in Awareness

Updated: Jun 14, 2024

The quality of our thoughts has such an impact on how we feel…

The more we become aware of our own mind patterns, the more we study them, the less we get trapped on our negative thinking loops, and the less we feed thoughts that simply don’t serve our highest good.

Becoming conscious means being able to notice that how we choose to think is actually a choice, - and indeed, - once we notice there is the possibility of choosing differently, we are empowered to move on to a better road in our inner landscape.

Learning to be compassionate and kind to ourselves is a beautiful healing journey; although it starts by witnessing all the harsh ways in which we speak almost daily inside our head. And this harshness can come in so many ways: like comparing ourselves to others, judging our own ways, needs, personality etc…

Reframing how we speak to ourselves about ourselves, leads us to radical acceptance of who we truly are, and a Loving-Kindness to our most unique qualities.

We no longer fight against how we are; instead, we begin to fully love ourselves, embracing our singularity and making room for it to express in the world.

That’s when we actually start enjoying who we are, and stop trying to become like someone else.

And it is so liberating: to allow ourselves to be okay with our own needs, kindly and warm-heartedly tending to them; without the thought that there is something wrong with us…

We become responsible for our own mental state of being - and this is key - when relating to one another in more healthy and harmonious ways.
